if it was the other person at fault of the accident then there insurance will pay for all damages |

If you happen to live in a 'no pay, no play' state you are totally screwed. If not then the other person's liability insurance should cover costs to repair (providing, of course, it was their fault).
P.S. -- buying insurance AFTER a crash is really, really dumb. |

well first off.. this "new insurance" you got doesnt count for the wreck- you do realize that right? If that was the case all us good citizens who actually pay for insurance wouldnt and would just be stupid and wait til we got in a wreck like you did.
Depending on your state- the other insurance company may now owe you nothing. Which i pray to god is the case. You need to just call their insurance and file a claim and see.
I notice your question is all about "me" "me" "me"- you are a very very selfish person and karma is a b*tch. I hope you get nothing. This hsould be a lesson for you.
What if a child had ran in front of your car and you hit hit and broke his back? What if that childs family was extremely poor and couldnt pay medical bills? Do you know what a monster you would feel like? Do you know how your life would be ruined trying to pay them off?
I pray you learn your lesson and be responsbile and keep up with your insurance. |

Her insurance should pay, but if you were hurt some states do not allow you to collect pain and suffering. Another good reason to have insurance is that if you have a decent company they would have worked with you to fix your car and then had her insurance to pay for it. Now you're going to have to negotiate with her insurance company yourself or get a lawyer. Hopefully, she has a reputable insurer and not some fly by night company. |

If the accident wasn't your fault, her insurance has an obligation to fix your vehicle. But you do need to have insurance on any vehicle you drive. |

The other insurance company will probably pay for the damage but I hope they tear up your driver's license for a while. What if you hurt or killed somebody? Without insurance, you would have been cleaning a cripple's house for the rest of your life.
Grow up and be an adult okay? This was your Gift from God, your lucky day. |

The at fault driver's insurance will pay for the damage.
Hopefully, the police aren't going to give you a fine or suspension for not having insurance. |

Sell the gas-guzzling Explorer and buy an economic car.
Then you'll be able to afford insurance. |

as long as you were not at fault the other drivers ins will repair your vehicle with no problem. and provide you a renatl if needed. If I were you I would go to a different in company that carries 6 mths to a yr policy instead of month to month. the service would be better and you wouldnt have to worry to muich about not having a policy the following month. get set up on bill draft. AND ALWAYS CARRY INS you are lucky you didnt get a ticket for not having it. some states would have arrested you for not carring ins, since it is the law! |

I was in an accident and did not have insurance. The other party was at fault and there were 3 witnesses to back this up. The other driver was taken to jail for driving under the influence. The policeman gave me a number to give to my insurance but since mine had just expired that is not possible. I do not have the other parties info, all I know is that it was a rental car. How do I find out who to file the claim with? |
