so i live in the state of new mexico and was interested in some how getting a license plate for my university. the state currently offers official license plates for the two bigger school unm and nmsu, and i was wanting to get a plate for enmu, how would i go about doing this. do i contact the school first or our state dmv department?

I did a little looking, and nothing says you have to have gone to the school. Nothing on the site or the application, so I'd hit up the DMV first just to make sure you don't have to have anything. I put the URL to the application below if you want to get it.
