I am over 20 years old and i am scared to death to drive, I don't like it and i am afraid to really get my license. Yes i know it may sound a little weird having to rely on some one else to drive you places but its just makes me comfortable. It does effect my relationship with My husband a little at times because i know the last thing he wants to do is get off work to go some where else to get items or take me some where to get something. He says if i don't want to get it i don't have to but i have to understand he might say no some nights, Do you think i am just being to scared or are there others like me.

I think you need to enroll in driving classes... you're 20 years old you should be responsible and mature enough to be behind the wheel. But, what if you and your husband have children? What if your husband is at work and your child becomes ill and needs to go to the doctor, clinic or emergency room ASAP.... what are you going to do then? For the benefit of yourself, your husband and future children you should start taking driving classes and learn to drive

Maybe seeing a therapist might help you reduce your anxiety. If all else fails give it a shot.

there's no point in not getting your license. you cant rely on people to drive you everywhere the rest of your life and when you need something or have an emergency and there's no one to drive you what will you do?. i personally feel safer to drive myself because i am in control of my car and not having to worry about how the other driver is. they have driving courses for adults so i would recommend taking one and start out slow and get used to it. you will get used to it after a while and feel safe.
