I LET MY FRIEND DRIVE MY CAR AND HE HAS NO LICENSE,WE GOT PULLET OVER BECAUSE OF THE HEADLIGHT THE OFFICER ASKED IF HE HAD EVER ISSUED A DRIVERS LICENSE BEFORE,THIS HAPPENED A WEEK BEFORE HE HAD TURNED 18. HE GOT A CITATION AND HE HAS TO APPEAR TO COURT(TRAFFIC)
WHAT HAPPENS NOW?SHOULD HE GO GET A LICENSE BEFORE HE GOES TO COURT?

FOR SCOTT..THE REASON WHY HE DROVE THE CAR HE WAS TAKING ME TO GET MEDICINE BECAUSE I WAS TOO DIZZY AND COULD DRIVE I HAD TO PULL OVER TO SWITCH SIDES SO HE CAN GET ME THERE SAFE BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE DANGEROUS IF I WAS DRIVING.

Why would you let someone with no license drive your car? That's just plain stupid.

(1) take the written test
(2) take the 5 hour course
(3) schedule a road test
(4) take the road test

ALL before the court date... go do it...

Your friend is going to have to pay a fine, then have his driving privileges suspended (translation: he can't even TRY to get a license).

I once got pulled over before i got my lic. went to court and the judge told me that if i got my lic. he would drop the charges for not havin one, went to get it, he drop the ticket. I think he should try it just incase he gets the same scenerio

It doesn't matter if he has one by then or not. Driving without a license is illegal, and he had never been issued one before the incident.
