ok i am 16 AND TWO MONTHS. i was told that i have to wait nine months to get a actual license. but in the handbook online it says that if you are sixteen all you need to have is your 50 hours completed and parents approval.

and live in the state of illinois i passed drivers ed at my school. i have completed simutlation and now i just have to go into traffic. i already have my permit for a month now do i have to wait or as soon as im done with my 5o hours can i just go straight to the sos and get my license.

you have to have your 50 hours and drivers ed segment 1 and 2 done.. then once you are sixteen (which you are) you can go and get your license at the SO. :)
