1. there is no way that amount of damage was caused by a 4mph shunt.
2. no, you do not have to accept the car back if it has not been put right. |

Heck no you don't have to accept it. The insurance company paid the repair shop to put your vehicle back to how it was before the accident. Take it back and tell them to fix it right. Be nice, but be very firm in exactly what you expect of them. I would also contact the insurance company and let them know what is going on, too. |

I don't believe that amount of damage was caused by a 4mph bump either. I'd suggest you and the insurers get together and discuss it. |

You take the car back to the body shop.
You show the body shop manager the problems.
Then the body shop makes it right. |

No and it sounds like you have possession of the vehicle. You should always test drive prior to signing any paperwork when dealing with a body shop.
Call you adjuster, let them no about the issues and take it back to the body shop. |

No complain to the insurance company I take it you have already done this hence the engineer. The repairer is acting for them and it's up to them to ensure that the job is done. I know the insurance company is only there to collect premiums but it is not in their interests to have shoddy work done and let us face it,. it is not in the interests of the approved garage. |

No, you don't, it should be of an acceptable standard. You might have a problem because from your question it sounds like you may have already accepted the car. Get some advice from the Citizens Advice Bureau and your local Trading Standards Office, they are impartial and they have dealt with hundreds of cases like yours.. |

Yes, get back on the phone and call the claim that the car is behaving bad when you drive it and have someone from the insurance company look at it immediately and take pictures and stuff too. You should call them immediately. Good luck. |

No you don't have to accept it BUT you appear to have done so as you are using it.
When it was returned you would have had to sign for it - That is accepting that the work has been done to your satisfaction.
You should not have signed for it. |

Get yourself an independent assessor and let him write a report to this insurance (mob) if they refuse to deal with you fairly.
I can never understand why they have these approved repair rip off merchants we all pay more because of them and by the way we do not have to use them ...only if we sign up for the loan car kick. |
