I'm gonna get my liscense but I won't have a car so I'm not getting insurance, but my job is giving me a car while I'm at work. Do I need to get some type of car insurance.

if the company is giving the car to you to use then they probably already have a group policy in place for all the cars they own and let employees use.they will probably also pay the gas for said car with a company credit card.if they do DO NOT overuse the card or car for personal use as over expense could lead to dismissal. |

No the car that they are giving you to use, will already be insured. Under their policy it will say that someone else can borrow their car. So if anything happens you would not get in trouble, it would be them. |

No, Your job will either add you on the company policy or maybe they're too cheap, either way....Make sure any car you drive has insurance on it. You don't have to be insured to drive a car, but if you drive a car that's not insured it's still illegal.
So yeah, before you drive that car, make sure it's insured. |

Companies insure their own vehicles. They are required by law and it would be stupid of them not to. |

im not sure i think if its a company car it is insured for other drivers. you do not need insurance if you dont have a car that you drive regularly. but my dad is giving me his 2003 ford ranger to drive but i still have to get insurance for it. |
