Do I need my learner's permit to take the driving test?

My learner's permit expires in 5 days, but I have 10 hours left to drive before I can take the driving test. Do I need to have my learner's permit un-expired to take the driving test? I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and go through the Nevada DMV.

I think u do because until u have acquired ur drivers license, u are driving on the road as a learner. Drivers on the road shud always be in possession of either a drivers license or a learners permit and since ur test will take place on the road, ur going to need ur permit
