Do i have to wait for licence?

i am wondering, i have gotten my drivers permit, done my 60 hours of driving, and i am about to do drivers ed classes, my question is, after i do my drivers ed classes, is there another waiting period i have to wait, or can i go get my license around a week after that.

P.S i live in maryland if that helps, answers much appreciated!!

They will give you a temp card and then you will receive the real one in about 7 to 10 days.....
