OK, so i'm thinking of getting a WRX STi, thing is im 19 and insurance for me is going to be super high. And someone told me if I was to get a loan from the bank I would be able to get liabilities. I live in IL if that makes a difference.

You need an insurance for any car, be it new or used.
If you get it on a loan you must get it on fully comp, so if you crash it they'll fix it.

If you want you an back up, change car and go for it again, there's no obligation to buy, you can use it as a tool.

yes you must have insurance on any new car with a loan on it. if the car dealership finds out you don't they will charge you for it and add it to your payment. why would you not want insurance on it. if you had a wreck and its your fault you'd be SOL. sounds to me like you do not need a new car. find a good used car with good gas mileage. and get liability insurance. that takes care of the other persons car in case of a accident. |

Most bank loans require full coverage insurance and car dealerships require some kind of proof of insurance when u get a new or used car |

If you finance a car you are required to have it fully insured. Why don't you get a 2.5rs imprez. They look almost exactly identical to the sti/wrx's for about the third of the price and cost of insurance. |

The finance company will require insurance. If you don't get full coverage, they will be able to buy it at at least 3 times the rate you would have paid and still bill you for it. Better off getting it yourself. |
