i have a car but soon i'll get another one so i was just thinking of keeping in the parking until i sell it so do i need to keep the insurance?? thanks

if your not driving it you don't but, you can talk to your agent to get a different kind of insurance for undriven vehicles incase some one steals it or something else happens. I forget what this type of insurance is called |

no, as long as you don't drive it and its not parked on a street then its fine. if its in your homes parking lot or something to that sort then it should be fine. |

No you do not, however if something happens to it your stuck. Collision is not that expensive and your covered while it sits. |

Well, no, you don't have to keep insurance on it, but, if something happens to it while it is parked, you won't get anything for it, and if someone wants to test drive it when you get ready to sell it, they won't be able to legally. |

As long as it is not in a public car park, you are okay. However, you do have to complete the S.O.R.N notice on the cars Registration book and send it to the DVLA. |

This is a little tricky. No, you do not need insurance on it if you are keeping it parked in your driveway. Yes, you do need insurance if you are keeping it parked on the street or in a public parking lot. You can only leave it on the street or in a public parking lot if you still have it registered with the DMV, and if you still have it registered, then it has to be insured. |
