The post office will not be able to issue you a tax disc without your certificate of motor insurance...( it would be illegal for them to do so). Go to your insurers and get them to issue you a cover note. The post office will also need to see your m.o.t and your vehicle registration document. |

You do, to tax it at the Post Office. They need to see the documentation.
On t'other hand, if you have the new-style MoT and your insurers have registered your cover with the Motor Insurance Database, you can do it online - see the DVLA's website. |

yes, you will need that at the post office as proof of registration - an insurance cover note will do, but they need current MOT, insurnace cover note and reg docs (V5) before they will issue you with a tax disc |

no, you can tax your car by phone your insurance and m o t are on computer, phone0870 850 4444 and they will tell you what to do. |

The Post Office DEMAND to see the Insurance Certificate, Log Book and MOT Certificate when you are taxing a vehicle. WITHOUT one of them the Post Office will REFUSE to give you a tax disc. |

u could also collect the cover note from the company and get ur tax straight away from the post office and don't forget to take ur mot cert. with u as well

no as soon as u put phone down to ya broker u is covered they record the time so you is ok to drive as long as u use required cover all brought to you by scouse facilits |
