1. Tell me you have a phone with games on it?
2. If you haven't gotten there yet pick up some magazines on the way.
3. Call your friends.
An hour isn't as bad as
waiting 4 hours in a line to be seen by the doctor, or having a profusely bleeding cut and sitting there in the waiting room for the doctor to see you. |

I have even better advice, why not make an appointment then you can avoid this all together. Most state DMV's have a website and you can make appointments online.
Just a thought as this is what I do

PS: If you cannot do that, take along a book, bring some headphones and listen to music, do crossword puzzles. Bring along a project your doing IE: sewing, a letter you've needed to write a relative etc |
