Most states now allow you do do so on line or by mail, rather than having to appear in person! This assumes that you have moved withing the same state! If you move to a different state, you will need to go to the DMV to get a new license in your new home!!

You have to change it. In some states, you can change it online, or have your agent file the form for you. |

You may be able to change it online through the state website. I know in Texas you can. Easier than going to the DMV office.. :) |

No, you merely have to notify them, not physically go in. This can be done by mail, or in some cases on line. |

I just did mine in Utah and simply had to fill out a website form. The DMVs website then explained that I just needed to write the corrected address on the back of the license. I typed it on blank return address label and applied it to the back of my license. |

Only if you can't do it online. The law requires you to notify your state DMV of an address change within a certain amount of time. In AZ, I believe it's 10 days. |
