all the time constantly coke water milkshakes so on

Any one caught drinking and driving should have their license revoked forever. My god daughter would turn 29 this year, except she was run over, while playing on the sidewalk in front of her house by a drunk driver.

No, Never Ever. It`s just not worth it.
Not even one drink, a car is a potentially lethal weapon, treat it with care and drive with caution. Please.

Michelle
Yeah, as long as its coffee, coke or water. If i have had so much as a mouthful of alcohol I won't drive. I'm a bad enough driver when I'm sober, i hate to think what i would be like if i added alcohol to the equation......

i think it should be zero tolerance - if you drink, don't drive. The Law should be tougher

One small glass of wine or a pint of ale, beer or stout consumed with a meal and allowing some time for an after dinner dessert, tea or coffee is relatively safe. Any more or without eating is dangerous in the extreme. No one should ever drive after drinking. I scraped some paint once and decided not to ever do it again, even though no one knew I had done it.

The penalty for driving under the influence should start with having your license suspended for 6 months, a 2nd offence should mean losing the car and the license for a year and a 3rd should mean time in prison, any incident after that would be even longer time behind bars. Fines do not mean anything to the rich, so sentence them to work in exchange for any reduction in sentencing. It could be argued by some that any object which could kill someone is a weapon. Thereby making a car, a pencil, a ball, screwdriver, pillow and a gun equally weapons. Wrong!! It is the person who kills, the behaviour that kills, not the object, so punish the person, not the alcoholic drinks, the places serving them or the car.

I used to before random breath-testing came in. I remember sitting in a pub with my Dad counting back how many pints we had both had in order to decide who should drive home...
Nowadays if I'm driving I don't have any alcohol at all, there's just too much chance of getting stopped.
