Depends on age, type of car and such. Let alone driving record.

roady42
As is typical here, you forgot to tell us WHO IS DRIVING, WHAT IS THEIR DRIVING RECORD, WHAT KIND OF CAR, WHAT KIND OF COVERAGE, it is a long list.
Stupid to just ask if this is too much.
Answer to your question: no.

This is hard to say with out knowing your situation such as car, age, coverage, credit history, location and driving history. Compare quotes at http://www.nationwidebillrelief.com for an average of what the top companies are charging for auto insurance based on your needs.

Ring around - you might get stuck with it if you're young, have a bad history, driving a powerful car, car is expensive, live in a bad area etc.

rhino_man420
depends on age and driving record, i paid more than that 15 yrs ago when i was younger

Mr. Hotelier
That does sound quite high. However, it depends on what type of car it is, how new it is, how old you are as the driver, your driving record, and what city you are driving it in, among other things. Try doing a price comparison at progressivedirect.com. That will show you the price at three competing companies.

bostonianinmo
That depends! If you're a 30 year old insuring a Corvette in Boston, it's a GREAT deal. That same person insuring a Taurus in Joplin, MO would be a rip-off.

I've seen alot worse. Try state minimum liability in new york city, if your a young driver......$1000/month isn't out of the question.

it depends on your age, driving record, kind of car you own,etc.

Where do you live? Depending on where you live, that may not be very much.

I think it is but a lot of things factor into rates, such as, age, accidents, and violations, if you think it's too high shop around for another company.

no n
if thats for full coverage it might be cheap

Not if you are driving a Porsche 959.

Yes, that seems high. The primary factors impacting auto insurance rates are the 6 parts of an auto insurance policy. Rates are generally based on:

* The coverage types you choose from among the 6.
* The amounts of coverage in a specific part.
* The amount of deductible you choose. In most cases, the higher the auto policy deductible, the lower the premium paid.
* Several other factors impact auto insurance rates. You'll probably pay less if any of the following apply:

* Your previous driving record does not include tickets, accidents and claims.

* Your home address is outside an urban area where more accidents and thefts are likely to happen.

* Your credit rating is high.

* You are older than 25.

* You are female.

* You are married.

* You own a make and model vehicle not prone to theft, or driven at higher speeds.
