If you take the pass plus course, most insurers will give you a cheaper deal or a no claims bonus for the first year. You can normally do it through your old driving instructor. Look into it. |

That's a LOADED question as everyones idea of reasonable is different. While insurance is on the car, internet shopping the various websites requires inputting driver info. plus the intended car. Always keep in mind there are hundreds of insurance companies and while they do reward you (with discounts) for continuous service, you're not "under contract" and can make a switch at any time. You could try the price comparison sites ..... or alternatively you could ask one of your parents to put you on their policy ..... the premium for this would be much cheaper than any insurance for yourself only .... it effectively works as though your parent (in insurance terms) is your guarantor...... |
