Depends what for.
Most "companies" are connected to a broker so many companies will have the same price.
Just take the time to shop around. |

www.confused.com
hellishly long application process but then checks something like 85% of the UK's insurers for you all at once - worth the effort. |

Depends on your age, I understand Adrian Flux are cheap for young people. I'm 21 and my cheapest insurance quotes have been from Tesco, the AA and Admiral. Admiral have low excesses too so you don't get bashed quite so hard if you make a claim. If you get a cheap quote always check things like the excesses for damage etc, also make sure legal cover is included. And check interest charges if you are paying monthly - some insurers rip you off on the direct debit charges! |

No
Norwich Union is particularly bad.
I got more cover at less than half the cost with Saga. |

Try the link below for the best UK Car Insurers.
Most, as well as providing quotes online, will also allow you to pay the premium by instalments (sometimes with no initial deposit required). |

endsleigh and direct line have always been the cheapest for me being a young driver, but I know that drivers over 25 (my parents for example) have always gone with the supermarkets (sainsbury's and tesco) as they've been the cheapest for them. Endsleigh quoted me £350 on a Saxo last year where as Tesco quoted £2000 (both fully comp.) |

Go to:
http://www.confused.com or http://www.moneysupermarket.com
Whatever the cheapest is there go to that site and do a new quote as you may find it cheaper because on confused and moneysupermarket it may be higher (commission). Example if Tesco is the lowest the open up a new Browser window and type in http://www.tesco.com and a new quote |
