Does it tick you off to see "non-handicap" people parking in handicap spaces??

In my experience, I have taken a picture, with my cellular telephone, after making sure it has NO handicapped plates, mirror hangings, or any other identification, and sent it to the local police. Every so often I get a pleasant response. Maybe you can earn a reward!

Because most of the time there is nobody parking there, I do not see the harm other than the fact that they were just too lazy to get a "real" space. I consider myself fortunate that I can walk and I do not have any disabilities or injuries that prevent that. When I talk to other people with disabilities they tell me that they would give up their parking privilages in exchange for being fully restored in their ability to walk.

Yes i saw one today.
She put it up when she was gettin out and then took it down.
i think thatthey should get caught because they dont need to be at the front someone could need it and get hurt idk

I like a couple of your other answerers park further away for the walk, as long as it's nice weather....so I really don't pay too much attention...but, one thing I see that I am thrilled about, is how they are starting to add more expecting mother spots closer to the doors along side of the handicap parking....I think that is something that should be in use more than it is.....

yes very much so. i go ask them if they have a handicap sticker or what. I learn a lesson from this. my dad had trouble walking, so i day he took me to the airport, and parked way out. i told him you have a stickler, and his reply was, i feel good today, so lets walk

yeah it's annoying. but what is more annoying is the fact that handicap spaces are wider than normal spaces and yet some of the handicap people can't even park between the lines. That scares me bc that means that they drive on streets and maybe highways.

Yes, I hate when people take advantage of those parking stickers. Many times, people have a family member or whatnot that is handicapped, but they use the tag even when said member isn't with them, and that just isn't right. Because they are taking advantage of the situation, they are likely putting someone else who is actually handicapped and needs the space at a disadvantage. People are just so selfish, lazy, and down right inconsiderate.

As long as they have legitimate handicap placards it is none of my business. People were mean to my father when he used his because he was not in a wheelchair and did not limp, but due to a medical condition that later contributed to his death he was unable to walk very far.

The only time it angers me is when some idiot decides to sit in his car and wait outside a store while parking in handicap spots, or when some old lady decides to park in the blue lines reserved for van ramps because she doesn't want to park in a legitimate handicap spot two spaces away. Those ramp access areas are critical for some handicapped people.

yes very much so, they should be reported and have thier cars towed away and fined a large amount. They have no idea how difficult it is for a person who truly needs to park up close. They should be grateful that they have the legs to be able to walk to the store. unless they are a pile of lard asses and are too sorry to move thier blubber a bit farther than the closest parking space.

Not really. I park away from buildings to get a little exercise instead of worrying about who got to park closer than me.

Hold on...
I also am quick to judge and usually misunderstand. If they have appropriate tags, you gotta let it go.
There is karma. Life has balance. If they are using somebody else's permit, they will get caught.
