I recommend an online insurance quote. It's free and quick to do. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Free-Auto-Insurance-Quote.html
Hope it works out |

Liability covers the passengers in your vehicle; and the driver and passengers in the other vehicle(s). It covers their medical bills (including hospitalization). It will not cover your medical bills, since you were the driver, and apparently the one at fault.
Medical Payments coverage will cover your medical bills. The limits for Medical Payments is usually a few thousand, so it won't go too far. Property Damage coverage will cover the other vehicles damages.
Medical Payments coverage will also cover medical bills for others in your vehicle; but not in the other vehicles. Liability also pays for the "pain and suffering" of those involved in the accident (if you're at fault). |

In Michigan our premium includes mandatory "medical insurance" but I thought this only kicked in if you are injured and have no other medical coverage. |

It pays for the other car (if in a wreck and your fault) or health and damages but does nothing for you. More exepnsive ensurances like full coverage covers you too. The only diffrence with liablility is it doesn't benefit you in the event of an accident. |

Liability insurance covers exactly what it says, what you are liable for in an accident. Depending on the state, if you were not listed as a drive on the policy, they might not pay anything and you and your dad will be sued personally. Sorry. |

liability insurance covers damage to the other cars and the driver/passenger's medical expenses. |

Liability insurance covers the cost of repairs to the other persons car. It does not cover medical payments. That's what BI (bodily injury) coverage is for. |

Well first of all I am assuming that you were at fault(?) if you were at fault and your father gave you permission to drive his vehicle, then his liability will pay out to the people in the other two vehicles for their medical bills and cars to be replaced. You may want to check with the policy to see what the limits are for bodily injury and property damage. If the monetary amount goes beyond that to pay for the medical bills and property ( replacment of their vehicles), then you will be responsible for paying the rest i.e garnishing your wages, coming after any savings accounts. If you also have an auto policy in force, then that will go into effect on top of your father's policy if the limits are exhausted. If your Father's policy had only liability, then you have no coverage for yourself for any medical bills. If the policy did have what they call medical payments coverage, then you can use that money towards your medical bills. |

Liability coverage will pay for the property damage and medical/lost wages incurred by the other parties up to the policy limits. Check to see if your father carries Personal Injury Protection(PIP) or Medical Payment Coverage. Either of these will pay for your meds. |

well who's fault was it? because if it was not your fault... then they will pay for you maybe partly depends on the insurance company. |

Depends on the state your in. Most cover the other party not your injuries. |

It will only cover the cost of the other drivers, if the insurance allows for you driving the car. If it doesn't, it will cover nothing. |

Well, it depends on the insurance plan. Liability can include pretty much anything you want to include. You'd have to call the company to find out what is included on that insurance plan...or find a copy of the insurance plan and check it out. |

No. It is solely limited to the costs of repairing the vehicle. That is what health and life insurance is for. |

No you have to have heath insurance. |

Only AFTER the claim has been "settled". AND if it wasn't your fault. If you have med pay on your insurance you should be allowed up to so much coverage. Never skimp on the insurance and drive safe! Speed kills! |
