I am really nervous about taking my driving test. I live in california and don't know what to expect. I am afraid that I'm going to fail. How hard is it to pass? i've had a few hundred hours behind the wheel, but wonder if that's enough. I've heard that some instructors fail people there first time on purpose. Is that true? thanks

Hrmmmmm. Nope not gonna fail just cause it's your first time. How hard is it? Well it is a 15-25 min drive in typical Ca Driving situations. Stop (full stop) behind the Limit line (white line before crosswalk markings) Remember to look over your shoulder to your Blind spots whenever you go somewhere other then straight ahead (lane changes, turns, backing, pulling into traffic, etc. etc.).

I passed my first time. It wasn't too hard. Basically, you pass unless you screw up. If you've practiced for 6 months you should be fine.
But honestly, what's the big deal if you fail? Just take it again. |
