does anyone know how much a provisional driving licence for a car costs and what id do i need to get one,i am white and english.

it not to drive car its for ID only,a passport is to dear.

Get a form from the post office. It costs £45 to buy the licence. You also need a passport sized photo' and some ID. Get the form, read it and you also get a little booklet and and envelope to send it off. I've just got mine but as driving lessons are £27 and £27,50, I've changed my mind about driving. I'll stick with the Gixer. |

you cant run a car on a provissional licence. you need a full uk driving licence |

go to you're local or nearest post office and ask for the driving licence application forms , current prices are in the pack . you can pay by postal order you will need a passport photo too!, all other info is in the pack and is well explained,
good luck .... current price for first provisional is £45 and valid until you reach 70 but needs to be updated every ten years |

Go on the DVLA website, you can apply online.
If you have a newer passport & can provide them with your passport number then they can get your picture & signature from those records.
I only had to wait about a week to get mine. |
