Driving to school with learners license?
Find answers to your legal question.

Driving to school with learners license?

what happens if you get pulled over with learners permit or nothing in florida?

Assuming you have a licensed driver of the correct age supervising your driving, probably nothing would happen since you are practicing lawfully. If you are alone in the vehicle, or don't even have a learners permit, you will be cited for driving without a license and your vehicle will be impounded.

You may just have to sign the ticket and start walking, or you may be taken to jail, depending.

Well just like in any state you could lose your permit, go to jail, pay a big fine etc. Personally I would'nt temp it. Just take the school bus or have a friend bring you so that way u dont get caught up in the DRAMA of doing stupid ****..

FINE, TICKET, SUSPENDED AND OR JAIL....

ITS BEST IF YOU CONTACT YOUR LOCAL (DMV) DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES OFFICE, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS AND AT THE SAME TIME YOU WILL BE GETTING THE CORRECT ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.

You can be fined/jailed/lose you license. However, I know some states (like Nebraska) allow teens with a permit to drive without supervision as long as you ok it with the local court house and DMV. This was so country kids could go to school since they cut back the bus schedules. I don't know if florida does that though. If you get caught without some sort of ok, then you are looking at alot of trouble.

Don't worry about the ticket or car impounding. That will be a few hundred dollars max.

The bigger concern is the fact that insurance won't cover you if you don't have a valid license. This means you must pay any damages out of pocket if you're at fault. For a major accident, this could be hundreds of thousands. And contrary to popular opinion, you can't get out of such obligations by declaring bankruptcy.

Most likely you will get points against your license and may even have your permit placed on probation for a said amount of time. I hope you have a licensed driver with you over the age of 18.

If a person took their written test to obtain a leaners permit, they should know the answer to this dumb question.

As long as you have the proper supervision in the car (adult driver) you should be fine. Or if you're following the rules of your learner's permit.

I don't know Florida's law, but in every state whose laws I do know, you get a ticket for driving without a license. This can be expensive.
