This is one of the examples of the unfairness of the law. Someone who drives a little too fast through two speed cameras would get six points and a higher fine.
I remember once having a £30 speeding fine. I wouldn't have minded, as I was speeding - but I read in the paper the same day about some unemployed chav who stole a car, drove at 100 mph through residential areas and eventualy set it alight who got a £10 fine and bound over - they couldn't disqualify him or put points on his license because he never had one. |

ignoring the comments about your writing, this was way to lean by the courts as seems to be the norm lately with this type of case, he should have been made to pay for all the damage he caused, as your dad is doing for the car he took and to make him responsible for his actions, i commend your dad for his actions. |

I'll try and answer the original question since the gibberish in the explanation is incomprehensible. If you get into an accident without having a valid license then the insurance on the vehicle becomes void. Therefore the driver AND the owner of the vehicle (if they are two different people) become financially responsible for everyone's damages if they are at fault for the accident. |
