it is all common sense
I passed the first time and i never even took drivers ed
i live in nc too
just be sure you know the shapes of the signs
when you take the sign test there will not be any words on the signs
example
school zone
stop sign
yeild
no passing zone
the written part is pretty much common sense like i said
just read your book and you should have no problems! |

Read the manual the prepares you for the test. And get practice before taking the test. The test in Michigan isn't that bad providing you practice and read the manual I don't know how much harder it could be in NC. Good luck |

Driving is easy. Everything you will need to know for the test is in that little manual they give you. It is pretty simple, just dont get mix up silly number and you will do fine. |

Please dear God just stay out of the left lane UNLESS you are passing. But just stay out of it anyway. You will be fine. |

just remember when you take the test to keep both hands on the wheel, my son failed his first test due to that |

Driving comes down to one thing. COMMON SENCE. If your about to do something you think is dumb then DONT do it. the test it self is a joke. Just remember to stay calm and relax. Just drive normaly. always check your blind spot and follow all posted speed limits. thats about all you need to do. The olny reasone people say its hard is cause they make it harder then it should be. They get tence and make dumb mistakes cause they couldnt relax. also remember to get a good nights sleep BEFORE the day of the test. And no CAFFINEEN before the test. Follow what I said and you should do just fine. |

They secretly time you, so you want to be sure to do it as quick as possible. Also they'll notice if you're really nervous and take points away for it, so if you're really nervous before it, you might want to just have a beer to steady your nerves. I'd reccomend playing some of the latest car simulation games such as Forza Motorsport 2 to practice getting a feel for things such as drifting and proper braking going into the corners. |

Make sure you always come to a complete stop at stop sign, use your blinkers, side mirrors and rear view mirrors, get as close as you can to the curb/cone when parellel parking, use your blinker when driving after you parellel parked, look both ways when making turns and follow signs, traffic lights. |
