Getting Driver's License Questions?!!!?

Not sure what state you live in but in California after taking your educational course your parents have to sign you up for the behind the wheel training, the instructor then gives his "white" slip of paper showing you've signed up. Then you take the pink & white slips to the DMV with your parents (you have to bring identification such as a birth certification, social security card, CA Identification Card, etc.) and then you take your test for your permit. If you pass, then you take your first of 3, 2 hour lessons. After your first behind the wheel with your instructor, he/she will then sign off and date your permit and it is then considered activated by the DMV and you can drive with your parents or an adult over the age of 25. 3 months later you take another 2 hour behind the wheel, and 3 months after that will be your 3rd and final behind the wheel with your CA certified instructor. In between this 6 month period you are driving with your parents or an adult over the age of 25, and you must have driven a total of 50 hours, with 10 of those hours being at night time. Your parents will then sign your permit stating that you have driven the 6 months and the number of hours required and then you can take your drivers license test as long as you have fulfilled these requirements and you are 16 years old.

My daughter is going through this at the moment in order to get her license in July. She has already passed the permit test, had her first behind the wheel with a certified instructor and she has already driven almost 4-1/2 hours with me in 1-1/2 days.

it depends where you're from. in california, u can only get ur permit when ur 15 1/2, and at 16 you can get ur liscense, but it might b different where you live.......

You have to take your test to get your temps, and yes, you have to wait until you are 15 and a half. You will have to go to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and take your test. Then they will give you a temporary license that allows you to practice driving with an adult.

It depends on where you live. I know here you can get your permit (pink slip) at 15, but you have to be 16 in order to get your license.

no you have to wait till your 16...then after that you have to drive 50 hours
then after that you can get your license 9 months and one die since you were issued ure permit, if ure in the states

Here in cali in order to get a lic or permit at the age of 15 you must live on a farm or ranch if your in the city then it's 16. But at 15 you don't have to wait since you have your permit yes you can drive with an adult only.

well in MN when you turn 15 you take the class and after the class and you pass a test you can drive with a adult then when you drive 50 with a adult and you are 16 you take another behind the wheel test and if you pass you get your license
