Back in nov of 2007 I got my license suspended for six months. I needed to pay the reinstatement fee of 500. I never came up with that money. Come jan of 2009 I needed to get a new ID because it was my 21st birthday and also my ID was expired. In order to get it, they had me sign off all my driving privileges. So now I have to take my temp test and driving test again.
What my question is, is that I was wondering if I still have to pay the 500 reinstatement fee after signing off all my driving privileges.
Oh and I live in ohio.

Yes you will most likely still have to pay the reinstatement fee. You will (or should) be re-issued the same d/l number you previously had. And that fee is still showing in the system as unpaid.
In Ohio, like many other states, if you have gone 6 months or longer without having a valid license, you must retake all applicable tests, may be issued an instructional permit & have to take a skills test again before you will get your license back. |
