I am going to take my road test soon and I am a bit confused as to the insurance part. I know that the car has to have car insurance. I recently bought a car ( well i gave a down payment) from my uncle's friend. It has liability insurance and they are going to keep the insurance on until the end of the month. The car is not under my name and I only have my permit. I heard that I have to have liability insurance in order to take the test. But I don't know how to get insurance if I dont have a license. And I live with my aunt and uncle, so I can't be on their policy even if i wanted to ask them cuz of my aunt. Can I take the car for the test even though it has insurance but im not on the policy and the previous owner is not with me when i take the test?
