Got a Ticket Feb 1st.... Haven't Told My Parents Yet?

Alright, so I got a ticket February 1st and now it's February 21st. I have yet to tell my parents, and now I'm really scared to because spring break is in two weeks and they may not let me go where I am suppoused to go.
If I don't tell them, will the notice it the next time they pay the insurance? How often does one pay car insurance, anyways?
I don't know if I should tell them or not, because they haven't noticed yet, so I don't know if they will notice ever if I don't tell them??

Thank you for your help! :)
Additional Details
I have the money for the ticket, so that's covered.
And I'm planning on getting a job soon.
But I'm just nervous :/

And OF COURSE I know lying is bad, lol, but it happens.

if this is your first ticket and it was only a minor infraction. ( you were only a couple of miles over the speed limit your parents insurance will not go up. If it was a major infraction such as reckless driving etc. Then tell them.
Most insurance companies only run your driving record every couple of years.
Just pay the ticket

You could probably get away with it until the policy is renewed. Then your driving record is run and the insurance premium will go up.

Better to be honest about it & tell them up front before their surprised!!

In general, lying to your parents is not the best plan. They will find out, and the consequences for lying are usually worse than the consequences for getting a ticket.

I assume you're referring to a moving violation. Nobody cares about a parking ticket. If it's a minor moving violation, tell them right away. Getting a ticket or two is part of the new driver learning process.

If you were speeding or driving recklessly, then you have a problem. Your points will cause your insurance to go up, so eventually they'll find out, but it might be a couple of months before the insurance company finds out about it.

It sounds like your parents are paying all your bills. If they also own your car, then this is a no brainer. Tell them right away, and apologize for waiting so long. They're not likely to cancel your trip for one transgression, but if this has been a habit, you might indeed get grounded.

If you owned the car and paid the insurance, it would really be up to you whether you told them. Let me guess, they're paying for the trip too? If you are relying on them for all your funds, then you have an obligation to let them know everything. Get a job, pay your own freight, and then you have some options.

BTW, if you don't pay the ticket, your license will be suspended. Don't drive with a suspended license! If you do, and you get stopped, you'll be arrested. If you get into an accident, your insurance won't cover you, AND you'll get arrested.

If your parents are going to have to pay for the ticket, then you'd better tell them right away.
