In many states, as I understand it, you need a valid driver's license to hold a motorcycle permit. If this is the case in your state, you'll need to park the bike.

Other options- friends (pay for gas and a little extra), feet, mass transit, bikes, cabs... Some cities and companies help match you up for car-pooling. For the summer, some powered scooters or power-assisted bikes do not need permits.

Or get a job closer to home, or an apartment closer to work.

Or see if your city offers any kind of exception for work (some do- but blow that and you are DEAD.)

In any case, do us both a favor and learn to drive safely. (24mph over? Dude! 42 in a 20 zone, 64 in a 40 zone, or 84 in a 60 zone- any way, that was not smart and I'm sorta glad you got stopped before you hurt yourself or someone else.)

you should have told the judge you need to drive to work ... no you can't drive the bike, or anything else, unless you could get approval to drive to work, but it might be too late for that. Like Hillier said, it also helps if you can say that your family needs you to run errands and stuff, but your parents have to be the ones to say that.

NO YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK it sounds like you may need to slow down or something MAN thats crazy. ask is you can get the right to drive to and from work you may get that . but they do keep a eye on you

Suspended means no driving. I wouldn't risk it, because just think of what will happen if you get caught. You could be in for some serious problems from this point on. I'd look into the bus lines, or put on your walkin shoes.

I don't know what state you are in, but I know that some places allow you to take a driving class to reduce your points.

Since you are a minor you can take the ticket to court and plead that you need limited driving priveleges to get to work, take your siblings to school, to deliver meals on meals and that kind of stuff. Sometimes they will shorten your suspension or give you a "work" license
It worked for me when I was a 17 year old dumbass.

no, cause it goes agenst your driveing record. if you drive the motorcycle, it will be hell if you get stopped by the police. haveing a supended licence affects all your driveing privlages. you can drive a moped without any problems, just be sure to use a helmet though!

You may have the actual permit - but if it has been suspended at the DMV, you are not legal to drive. If you get stopped, then you are up $hit's Creek. Besides, doesn't sound like you are responsible enough to be driving anyway.

I would recommend that you get a bicycle, a bus pass, or a good pair of walking shoes. You are not yet 21 and have had your license suspended twice????????

It seems to me that you need to learn a lesson here. Your actions and irresponsibility have cause you to lose your driving privileges. You need to serve out your license suspension, and find alternate transportation.

Maybe when you get your license back this time, you will consider the trouble you had without it, and will drive like you have a bit of good sense!

I believe you can get a provisional license for driving to school and work only. But that's only if there aren't any bus stops close or you have to work late hours. Other than that, you're out of luck and you'll have to take the bus.

I think you're out of luck as far as driving is concerned. You will have to try and hitch a ride with a friend, or start walkin'.

sorry no driving your motorcycle, i guess you will learn your lesson and obey the law, you are going to have to get a bus schedule or get a bicycle to get from point a to b.

Get an occupational license. (If your state has one) It allows you to drive to and from work only!!
