Of course not - you must have someone in the car with you who's over 21 and has at least 3 years driving experience |

No it most certainly does not. However, you can dive on your own as often as you like. |

NO!!!
The only way you can drive with no one with you is to pass your test, and don't forget to apply for a full drivers license |

Hey!
no your provisional only allows you to be in a car with someone who has had a driving license for 3+ years and is over a certain age (18 or 21)... you cannot drive alone until you have your full license...
Good Luck with your lessons ! |
|

?

If you're in the UK, no, you can't. Plus, if you're driving you have to be insured. Better go visit the bank manager for that one... |

No. Think about what you've just said - if that were the case people could drive with no lessons and no driving test! Why would people spend a fortune to sit driving lessons and driving tests if all you had to do was pay 40 quid for a provisional?
A provisional allows you to drive a car which you are insured on under the instruction of a driver who is over 21 and has been driving for more than 3 years.
You are not allowed to carry passengers or go on motorways and you can definately not go out on you own, only with the qualified driver who is helping you. |

No, you can't. You have to have someone with you if you're driving in Ireland anyway. Someone with a FULL licence. |

it varies from state to state, burt there's a reason they call it provisional
My guess is that "provisional" is what is called a learner's permit, and that means you drive with an older driver. |
|

In the UK...
Until you have passed both theory and practical tests you can only drive accompanied by a full licence holder who is at least 21 years old and passed their test at least 3 years ago. You must display L plates front and back and you cannot drive on motorways. You must also make sure you are insured to drive. |

No... you have to have a license for that.
If you have a provisional, you HAVE to have someone with you who has a license. |
|

anna!

no, you have to have someone over 21 with you when you drive i believe |
|

magpyre

Nope you have to have another driver with you who has a current full driving licence and is over 25, so dont think your mates can do it because you will get pulled over! |
|

No you have to have someone with you that has a full licence they have to be a qualified driver that is over 25.
My son at same age as you is also going to be learning and is asking these questions..
Good luck. |

I am 16 years old with a License.
Provisional means that you can only drive by yourself and cannot transport people until one year later after you get your license. |
