There is no such thing as a "minor" hit and run.

You either hit and ran or didn't.

play the stupid card "i didn't know i hit that car", but when you go to court be very sympathetic and apologize to the peoples who's car you hit, just be very sincere and tell the people that if you would have known you hit there car you would have stopped and waited for them of left a note. the say something to them like "i am so so sorry, if i would have known i would not have driven off, was there any damage to your car?" (even tho you know there is none), just act concerned and sympathetic for them... you should get off fairly light...

Your insurance will skyrocket. Might suspend your license if you have other deductions or if the judge feels he should. The ins will be the worst part.
Sorry dude! But I'm glad they caught you! You'll know what I mean when someone hits your car and takes off like a wimp.

Even if their isn't *visible* damage, and you don't see the person around, you should leave a note with contact info AND report it.

They will probably make you go to traffic school, and depending on how well things go in court, you could probably do the traffic school online. (at least, that's what I heard)

take it as a lesson learned.they probably wont suspend your license,but just make you pay the fine.

fyi i had someone do the same thing to my car and i got a teeny tiny little scratch that eventually got bigger and bigger and resulted in me paying for a paint job!

There is not such a thing as a minor hit and run. You broke the law and and now you are going to pay. It is simple.

Hard lesson to learn, especially if your a new driver. You'll have a difficult time keeping or getting insurance with that on your record 4 points is pretty steep. You have a chance of a suspended license, for a 1st offense it hopefully will be just the fine.

I would make a inquiry at one of those traffic ticket
businesses. Even though you backed into another vehicle
it was on private property so I don't think the cop can give you
a ticket, especially if he or she did not see you hit the other
vehicle. Same thing for the demerit points. Even if someone
called the cops & says they saw you do it, I still don't think
the cops have the right to give you the fine or take points.
If it were that easy anyone could call the cops on anyone
else and make up a story about that person hitting another
vehicle. Since there was no damage to either vehicle I would
fight it tooth & nail. I'm sure you guys have those ticket
specialist places in the U.S that fight traffic tickets, call one
and tell them your story, you having nothing to lose.
