Help my friend wrecked my car what shuold I do?

and right now its at the shop and my parents pay for the insurance and think he should pay but he has no money and his dad wont pay unless the insurance makes him pay... oh and my agent NEVER filed my insurance.
Who usually pays in these situations?

well he has a car..... so his not broke. i was in the passenger seat. So please dont go thinking he does not have a car. and well my parents pay the insurance.... im under it as a driver. basically he turned left on a green light i saw the car I screamed stop and he did 3 seconds later the car hits us. we were at fault.... but does his insurance company pay or mine?

You are in a sad situation. You made the mistake in judgment and foolishly let an unemployed or otherwise "broke" friend drive your car. To make matters worse the "broke" friend is apparently a lousy driver, who has the misfortune of having an unscrupulous, inconsiderate, and cheap father. When you attend college, you pay for tuition, fees, and books to get an education. In life, you pay for an education by paying to fix your mistakes. Hopefully, when you do the right thing by paying for the repairs with your own money, you will have learned to rid yourself of this lousy friend and his lousier father and never let someone else drive your car. By doing this you will have paid for your education and learned the actual cost of making poor decisions. |

1st call your insurance agent and find out why it hasn't been filed yet. since it's your friend and you let him drive your car your both kinda at fault here what I think is a fair thing to do is ask him to pay half of the cost if you guys don't come to an agreement you can call a lawyer that deals specifically with auto accidents. Good Luck |
