Now, im in the process of buying my first car. My parents said they would pay for half of the car, but im on my own for the insurance and ect...
If the car i was buying was a 1996 Nissan 200sx with 100000 miles on it, new transmission. motor ect.. from someone i know, what other costs would there be? there would be the 1800 for the car, roughly 100 dollars a month for insurance, but on registering and miscellaneous things in utah im stuck.
if someone could just help in giving me the final price after everything for the car, you would be my best friend ;)

And to add, he IS an olderish man (32?) who just did an engine swap with a infinity g-20 motor i believe, and a 5sp posi-trac transmission in combination. not abused is what im getting at

First of all, the idea of buying a 98 Nissan 200SX is a bad idea, and since it has 100K miles on it and it has new parts, make it an even worse idea. If you can't afford a new car, I would suggest you buy a used car owned by an older man who has not abused the car so badly that it needed a new transmission and motor before it had 100K. A Nissan Sentra or Toyota Corolla would be a good choice. Don't make the mistake of buying an old performance-type car, because it will have likely been abused. |
