of him growing up? On A old Jvc camera with old composite plugs on my camera I guess in other words (rca jacks.) I recently bought this ez grabber device that you can plug into old cameras as long as they have the red, white, and yellow plugs into the computer (usb on the other end) and you can transfer your old home movies well my old camera footage wont show up on the ez grabber menu when i put my camera into play nothing shows up? Is there any software that will work with this device or did I get scammed.The camera plugs are fine they play on my tv. Btw sorry for my grammar thanks.

Wow. Sorry about your son.

I'm not too familiar with transferring with that device, or from a video camera specifically but a couple of suggestions. One is to review the information in the link below, it could be helpful and maybe simplify things.

Second it may be possible to plug the camera into your tv/dvd or vcr and then record directly from it. Check your dvd/vcr manual to see, I feel like it should be possible without too much hassle.

What kinda question is that?

It should plug into the inputs of a vcr. I'm not sure about the computer hookup you have. I have an ati all in wonder card that can record from video cameras, but it is a rather complicated process. There may be a store nearby that can transfer it to dvd disc for you.
