I have gotten hit by a car at a younger age and I will soon be 18. But the problem is that the person who hit me doesn't have insurance. Will I still receive some kind of money when I do turn 18?

If the person had insurance at the time of the accident - a claim would have been turned in then. A settlement made and the money paid to your parents to be held in trust for you. The money would then be yours when you turned 18.
You did not indicate that you were hurt. If you were not hurt....you don't get money just because you were hit.
And depending on how it happened and the age you were when it happened - you may not be entitled to any settlement at all.
So...go and talk to your parents or legal guardian about it. They will tell you what happened. |

Depends, did your parents or guardians pursue and already settle a claim on your behalf? Do you have a settlement sitting in an annuity?
If the claim was never pursued, once you turn 18 you can file a claim.
You do not mention where this accident occurred. Just because you may have been injured does not mean you are entitled to monetary compensation. You need to meet the threshold requirements of the state where the loss occurred.
Since the other party does not have insurance(I assume at the time of the loss, not now), you can file an Uninsured Motorist claim against your parents' auto policy. Depending on what state this loss occurred in, you may be able to 'stack' several household policies.
If nobody had coverage, your only recourse would be to file suit directly against the at fault party. |

From WHOM? Who do you think is going to pay you money, just because you turn18?
When you DO turn 18, depending on your permanent injuries, you can sue them. But if they have no money, and no insurance, you probably won't actually get any MONEY. |
