Isn't there a device to buy that pulls them out? How much is it and where can I buy it?

Paintless dent removal.
Just about any major parts store:

Car Quest
Pep Boys
etc... should have them in different sizes too.
If the dent has a crease in the metal the plunger will not do much.
You would need a body hammer and dolly to get it back to shape.
It's all about shrinking and stretching the metal |

Some dents can be 'pulled' out, and some cannot. If there are any sharp creases or ridges in the damaged area, it will take more than just pulling the metal back out. Metal that is creased is stretched and does not resume it's original shape.
On the other hand, some little dents just pop right back out if you do the right things. There are suction cup pullers and another type that you have to screw a sheet metal screw into the middle of the dent--fasten the puller on it and pull it out. You then have to fill the damaged area with body filler, sand, prime, and paint it.
Some types of dents will respond to carefully applied heat, but if you OVERHEAT the metal you will burn the paint off, damage the metal, and the metal will rust soon after.
If you have no experience with this process, it would likely be best if you find someone that does know how to do it, and get them to help you first time. You can get equipment at any good automotive supplies store. If you were in Canada, for instance, you could go to NAPA or Canadian Tire. |

If it is small dent(s) that does not have a crease in it- contact a paint-less dent removal company. Most of them will do a free estimate.

If the dent is too extensive for the toilet plunger, there is what is called a slide hammer. But that requires drilling holes in your car.
Another way is to beat the dent out from the inside. If the dent is in the door, (or any place that is accessable from the inside)take the inside panel off & beat it out from the inside. |
