So here's the deal, I'm 21 and have been riding the metro my whole life! I don't know anyone who can teach me to drive nor do I own a vehicle to practice driving in. I've already picked up a drivers manual and have about 1k saved up. I'm going to buy a good economical car between 2k-6k. How do I go about learning to drive when I'm in the situation that I'm in.

I am an adult. 21 :] I already metioned I don't know anyone who could teach me to drive in their vehicle. Inquring about driving school would require money. I don't have the budget for drivers ed seeing as to how I'm saving for a car.

you could pay to go to a driving school where they should test you at the end or you buy a learn to drive computer software that should teach you the rules of the road and how to operate a standard vehicle |

First get a learner's permit by writing a written in your home state. Local DMV office will administer the test for you.
You could go the driving school and get driving instructions for a fee.
If you have a friend who is an adult could help you out.
