I came to this conclusion when I saw my second sighting of a woman putting on her eye makeup using the rear view mirror while driving 70 miles an hour on the local interstate.
I quit looking after the second one. It's too scary. |

They claim we are bad drivers to make themselves look good. My husband says he's nervous with me driving and yet he is the one who looks at the scenery when he drives. I always have to remind him to get back in his lane and that the speed limit is actually 15 mph faster than what he is going. |

Well, this is my theory. Women are people who like to stay at home, cook, and try to make their family the best. So that means they dont drive to often and when they do, they dont do a good job. On the other hand, men are the people that come back from work, so they use the car often. Now that this is established, you can now agree on why women are "bad" drivers. |

b/c men are bad drivers and we don't drive like them so they think they do fine and we are bad drivers. But like you say our insurance is cheaper b/c women tend to be better drivers than men. |

Because we remember and are still mad that you got better rates than we did when we were sweet 16. Actually statistically women have less accidents, and do less damage when they do have an accident, but they also drive less miles than the boys do. If you averaged out the accidents per mile, male and female ratio is about even. |

The complaint is more or less a chauvanistic thing. It's like the deal with some men who believe that some jobs are only for them. As for the lower insurance rate for women, its been that way for as long as I can remember. Only your insurance agent can tell you the specific "why's" about that. |

You know what. Men aren't better.
Male, female, white, black, yellow........whatever. There's always a crap load of horrible drivers in those groups and they are the ones who make everybody else look bad.
The worst offenders are those who think it's okay to chit chat a full on conversation on their cell phone while driving. Those f--king idiots! |

Statistically, men are better drivers than women - but believe me, I've driven with plenty of other guys and they're AWFUL drivers!!

Its a proven fact that women are better drivers than men are. Men are just jealous that a woman can operate machinery better than them! Men are just really impatient, I think thats why women make better drivers, plus most women are more cautious and courteous on the road. |
