How do I go about getting damages to my car fixed?

There are 2 children that were playing ball in the parking lot of my apartment complex. This is a violation of the lease agreement because there is a field to play. My car was damaged with some dents and scratches. Do I sue the parents for the damages? How much time can I let go by before its too late? The parents are yelling racism because we are spanish and they are black. We confronted the children for hitting the cars and playing in the lot. I've never encountered something like this before.

You have a problem. You probably have up to but not more than two years to sue for damages. If you are going to sue or take the parents to small claims court you will have to prove the children damaged your car. It will take eye witnesses that are willing to testify they saw them hit the ball or threw the ball that hit your car or video tape showing the same thing. Assuming they damaged your car because they were playing ball in the parking lot will not stand up in court. Your car could just as easily been damaged by vandals in the middle of the night.r

Firstly just check it out how much you need to pay for the damages and inform both the parties for the damages. And accordingly you act if they are ready to pay then there is no need to go the court or hire any attorney.

The first thing that you needto do is send a certified letter to both the action company and the tow truck that pick it up. you will have to find out what is worng with it and how much it will cost to fix and ask them to pay that amount. IF they will not then you will need to take them to court. YOu may be able to do it yourself in small claims court depending on the amount. If not you will have to contact an attorney to help you get some justice from this company.
