My husband hasn't changed his address on his license to our new address yet. He was planning on doing it when he transfers the title of his moms car into his name. I would like my name on the title too, so that I can put the insurance in my name and add him as a driver (it'll be cheaper that way). The prob is we have two different mailing addresses and there is only space for one. Do we need to cram both of our infos on there? Or is it possible for me to put him as the sole owner of the title and still put the insurance in my name, since he is my husband?

The reason there is only one place for address is because they only send out one notice of registration-due to one address. So pick an address that you want the registration reminder to go to. People change addresses all the time, but they don't change the title address...too much paper updating for the DMV. If you want your drivers license and registration address changed, then do a Change of Address Form REG 14. It's free. Titles don't need to be changed.
Two names: Remember you need to choose "AND" or "OR" when you put two names on a title. AND means you need both signatures to sell the car. "OR' means only one of you need to be around to sign. More convenient that way. (but AND is more secure if you don't trust the other person)
Again, with insurance, just pick an address that is the most convenient to receive bills at.
Insurance companies prefer insureds be on the title.
