How do i get a car registered for the first time?

I recently had a roadworthy done on my car, I was just wondering what i have to do to get it registered now. Am i able just to drive it down to the department of transport QLD, or do i have to first get CTP insurance to drive it?

find out what county you live in, look up where to get it registered. you need to have a copy of your id and car insurance. it's usually around 60 bucks and it covers you for a year.
