i have a motorcycle i was working on the owner abandoned itand never paid.the license plate is still on it, how do i get info on who's name the title is under? or how do i go about looking up the owner by license plate on bike?

vin number or that plate and go to dmv with it tel them your story

The DMV is not allowed to give you that info for privacy reasons. Especially on motorcycles as they are so commonly stolen.

Take VIN# and plate# to DMV and begin abandonment proceedure. They will walk you through it.

call DMV if its been there 90 days you can file for a mechanics lien...you/dmv will attempt to notify him of the action...DMV has all info..
