How do i obtain a car title that is missing and the person that gave it to me passed away?

my aunt gave me a saturn..and im trying to get it switched over to my name but i cant with out the car title..my aunt passed away from cancer recently..we looked everywhere for the title..i cant find it ..i have no idea how to obtain the title..

Have the executor of her estate obtain a duplicate title then sign it over to you.

whoever is handling the will or sucession wil have to apply for a lost title, and proceed from there

If she indeed "gave" the car to you, and you have some proof of that, the executor of her estate can assist you in getting a tile in your name.

You will need to get a replacement title in your aunts name. After you have that you must show proof that she gave it to you and proof of her death, i.e. death certificate.

Was anyone executor of her estate. You can obtain it through that way. File for a lost title and go from there. It is like 60 - 70 to get one, but very possible.
