3 years sounds about right for private but am not sure if you have to hold it for 5 years to be an instructor in a school like BSM, don't quote me but I'd call BSM or the AA and ask them. |

you need to be 21, hold your licence for 3 year and have less than 6 points.

You have to be over 21. The length of time you have held the licence once you are over 21 is not applicable, however, to get your Instructors Documents you are going to have to pass the equivilent of an Advanced Driver's Test to demonstrate you are safe to instruct learner's. Consequently, you will need some driving experience. |
