I live in Kansas and Monday I am going to send in for my car title so that I can sell the car. Does anyone know how long it takes? Or an estimate ampunt of time?? Anyhting would be appreciated. Thanks.

If there are no liens on the title, you should receive your new title within four weeks from the date of application, according to information on the online site for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Kansas. It depends on where the title is coming from. Did you get a loan from a local or national bank, and where their loan processing department is located. It can probably take anywhere from 3-8 weeks. If you have already paid off the loan, then they should already be in the process of sending it back to you. Call and ask. Good luck! |

Less than 30 days generally. But where is your title that you have to send off for it? When you buy a car, you get a title from the person who sold it. |
