A corvette lost control of his car and we tried to avoid him and slammed head on into the guardrail. it's been almost 3 weeks and we haven't heard anything. Every time we call the adjuster, it goes into voice mail. The whole front of my SUV is torn off. We still owe $14,000 on it and it's worth about $6,000, but we have GAP insurance so we don't know what the problem is. We can't get any information from them. I am scared to get another car in the event it isn't totaled but I need a car! And the insurance co. only covered a rental for 10 days! Help!

They are probably still trying to complete their investigation. It is not clear why they only offered 10 days of rental if the vehicle is not drivable.

I suggest you call and speak to a supervisor for the status of your claim. Since you likely have collision coverage, you should really consider making a claim against your own coverage. You would have had your claim resolved by now.
