I passed first time, but I'm lucky, as I'd been driving for years on the farm so I had plenty of practice before I hit the roads. The only tip I can give is that practice makes perfect! Keep trying and you'll get there in the end. One of my best friends took four attempts before she passed.

Poor you. Fingers crossed for your next attempt - just get lots of practice in. I passed first time - but actually think I was very lucky to have passed.

1st time

I passed on my first go. All the women in our house did & the men had to have 2 goes. It's very funny we like to remind them off it. Just because you didn't pass yet doesn't mean you won't, it just ends up being nerves on the day. Try taking a herbal tablet to relax you b4 your next try. Good luck!!!

i passed yesterday on my second attempt, i had 6 minors, i think the main reason that most people fail is nerves, i couldn't stop shaking, it took my partner 4 attempts and his mum 6! keep at it you'll do it soon. good luck!

Passed first go last nov....cant be that much change there so. Depends on what city/town you do your test in and of course on the instructor. I had 6 minro faults.

I passed first time, but i have a friend who just passed his 4th test! No one I know has ever failed more that 3 so I have a good feeling for you! Just keep practicing! They aren't looking for perfect drivers, just safe ones. Always show that you are aware of your surroundings and never forget that blind spot, thats usually a failure!
Good luck!

I passed second time, but i think i cried fro days when i fail the first one, keep on going its worth it when you pass

1st time, but i made a mistake cant remember what is was,and i went through the rest of the test, thinking id failed, nearly dropped through the floor when he told me id passed? hang in there me old snap-tin,my mate passed on his 4Th attempt, get a family member to take you out,and maybe point out just what some of your weaknesses are,and iron them out? good luck?

SAPPER
Two, but I know it was much easier in the fifties these days I would think 3 times would be reasonable and usually it's nerves that let you down, try to keep calm and you'll be OK.

Aww poor you I hate driving tests, I passed 2nd time, on my 1st I got 0 minors but 2 majors and my second I got 11 minors! Its probably your nerves getting the better of you, try taking Kalms or rescue remedy before your test. Good luck - if I can do it then you can!

I passed on the first try. Like anything in life you have to practice. Keep on trying. Don't just go back and test again. Focus on the "little" things you are doing wrong. Find a school or a library somewhere and make up a practice test. You have to remmember they want to make sure that you a ready for the road. If your are not you may hurt yourself or someone else out on the road. Chin up.....keep on trying!!! You're gonna look back and laugh at this one day !!!

One test, one license. Wasn't hard for me. If you have your PERMIT, try asking a friend or family member to drive with you (in your own car) so you can get some seat time. If you don't have a permit, do the same thing, just on back roads so you've got less of a chance of being caught. Remember what you did wrong in the test, and focus on those areas in the car.

I Passed First Time, But Dont Worry If It Takes A Few More Times Its Making You A Better Driver, If I Was You I Would Change My Driving School, Hope Next Time You Pass

doonies
passed first time, baby!!!!!

Although i normally dont tell anyone i got 11 minor faults, 1 more and i would have probably failed.....

I did take my test 13 years ago, so its probably harder now.

Keep at it, you will do it, keep your chin up..

Good luck, dont give up....

i passed my test today it was my 2nd time. 1st time i failed as i nearly crashed so was extremely nervous this time, was so hard to relax into it. but i managed it with 13 minors.
you just have to stick at it a friend of mine has failed her test 10 times now and is determined to keep going untill she does, just practice and try to relax even though its easier said than done. why not ask you instructor if you can spend the last couple of lessons before your test focusing on where you go wrong?
also have you tried calming medicines? rescue remedy spray is really good and has the added bonus of tasting like wine!!
remember the more times you do your test the better driver you are ;)

I passed the second time. The first time it was an instant fail because I nearly knocked over a cyclist turning right into a road! Your time will come and you'll pass when you're ready. Have some further lessons and practice and put in for your 4th driving test now. Good luck!

I passed forth time! so did my brother. Once you pass it doesnt matter how many attempts it took.

Dont give up!

yea, little things can most certainly screw you up. I remeber taking mine twice, I passed on the second one.

The only thing I can suggest is maybe try a different location for your test.

DURING THE TEST, NEVER STAY NERVOUS. THOSE INSPECTORS ALWAYS USE THAT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE.

Why does it seem so hard for todays youth?????

Did they change the questions????

This used to be pretty simple to pass. I am only 34 and I got mine at 16.
