Depends whether your life style is Hilton or YMCA.

My niece and her best friend went travelling for 16 months, they are both hair dressers and arrived home with more money than when they left! They stayed mostly in hostel type accomodation and where ever they went they put up a sign offering cut price hair cutting.

WELL my brother went to Aussie for 3 months and has already blown 7 grand! He's a big spender!
So therefore i'd say for a year ( if you werent workinh) about 16,0000 pounds
