I am assuming you mean with the RACV?
This is the roadside assistance which is offered through every linked motoring club in the different states of Australia.
I work at RACV, so I can give you the prices really easily.
If you have pre-existing business with us, you may be elligible for a discount.
If you are just starting up a new membership and choose basic roadside care, you will also have to pay a $45 joining fee (which is waived with extra or total care)
If you have broken down on the road and require immidiate assistance, you will also need to pay an 'on-road' surcharge of $164.
(On top of the basic Roadside fee + the joining fee, making it a grand total of $291)
Ok, here are the prices:
Basic Roadside assist: $82 p/a (plus $45 joining fee for the 1st year)
Extra care: $134 p/a (no joining fee)
Total care: $184 p/a (no joining fee- total care also covers the car + the driver for any vehicle they drive providing it falls within our guidelines.)
If you have broken down on the road you can only get basic roadside assistance. |
